MI 44- Middle Ear Analyzer
This impedance unit is flexible enough to perform a range of diagnostic testing in both manual and automatic modes. Combined with an internal printer, you have everything you need for professional testing, features:
- Manual and automatic pump control
- Ipsi and contralateral reflex test in tone and noise
- Several high frequency probe tones
- Selectable tympanometric pressure ranges
- Selectable tympanometric pump speeds
Diagnostic Testing for the Middle Ear-
The MI 44 middle ear analyzer is built to meet the demands of clinics and hearing specialists who provide diagnostic testing, tests include:
- Diagnostic or screening tympanometry
- Four frequency reflex tests for tone and three for noise
- Ipsi and contralateral reflex decay tests
- Eustachian tube function tests for intact and perforated eardrums
- High frequency probe tone testing of 678, 800, and 1000hz
Manual and automatic functions-
Manual and automatic tympanometry pump controls are both available with selectable pressure ranges and selectable pressure ranges and selectable pump speeds. Automatic functions include the four frequency relfex tests which increas unitl a reflex is detected or a maximum is reached. The maximum level is adjustable.
Additional features -
The MI 44 includes an internal printer for quick documentation of tests results and the printouts can be customized. Multiple tests can also be stored for each patient - up ot 6 ipsi, contra, ipsi reflex decay and contra reflex decay for each ear as well as 2 tmypanograms (one at 226 Hz and one high frequency tone) for each ear. The unit's probe is adjustable and features a convenient, detachable probe tip as well as an indicator light to signal a proper seal so the test can begin. In addition, the tympanogram and test results display in real-time on the large LCD screen.
Standard accessories for this unit include the probe with both diagnostic and screening probe tips, contra phone, shoulder strap, set of ear tips, calibration cavilty with probe holder, power cable and printer paper. An optional soft-sided carrying case is also available.
